Career Overview

ARM’s IT presence in the global markets makes us one of the UK’s key recruiters in this broad but specialist field, and we are cited as one of the UK’s top 30 IT Recruitment firms (source, Recruitment International Top 100 Report, Volume 12).

Our IT divisions occupy approximately 5,000 square metres of office space at our Havant headquarters, with more staff working in our Bournemouth office.

Our coverage of the IT industry is extensive, including SAP, Oracle and ERP, Communications and Infrastructure, Security, Testing, Software development and much more. Our Bournemouth office specializes in iGaming, digital marketing, PPC, SEO and related internet search technologies.

ARM has ambitious expansion plans for our IT industry coverage and we are always on the lookout for talented recruiters who may wish to help us expand our coverage. We recruit staff at all levels from resourcers who identify and work with candidates to all levels of consultant, from trainee to senior. Although some see resourcing as a natural route into recruitment (and indeed for many it is their first role in a recruitment career) resourcing can be very satisfying for those who enjoy working with candidates, and can be well paid.

We split our IT recruiters into areas of specialisation and they tend to be highly knowledgeable about their industry sector and the skill sets for which they recruit. We also split our coverage still further into Service delivery (Account Management and sales). Our account managers look after a small number of accounts, or even one account, developing relationships and ensuring that vacancies are filled and service level agreements with their clients are met and exceeded. Our 360-degree recruiters are more free-reigning and have to exceptionally proactive, developing business across our database and winning new clients.

In all cases, these roles suit applicants who are very delivery focused and can thrive in a fast-paced environment, achieving business growth by maximising business opportunities through excellent customer service skills and a very proactive attitude.
